About
Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, ioi Design is where dreamer and designer Esther Franck brings her sense of form, function, and flair to clients all over the country.
Inspired by her travels around the world, Esther looks to the beauty in nature, texture, color and her unique style to create beautiful interiors and exteriors, on any budget. Utilizing existing client furniture and artwork where possible, something entirely new is created for each ioi Design project.
From her early days, Esther could be found redecorating and rearranging her bedroom and helping her mom repaint the living room. She intrinsically understood how these changes brought fresh energy and joy to a space. Her engineer father and fashionable Aussie stepmother had a significant influence on her understanding of aesthetic, function and collaboration.
With a long career in operations, she brought this same design sense to every law firm, NASCAR team and tech company along the way. ioi Design incorporates this keen sense of organization and efficiency woven together with design fundamentals to bring about beautiful and cohesive spaces.
Esther has studied Interior Design at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. She lives near A2 with partner Dave, barn cats Corinthian and Regina, and a transient groundhog named Reginald Junior. Her incredibly creative son, Tristin, and other wonderful family members have long served as inspiration and support.

Founder Esther is a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga teacher and a meditator in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. iOi Design offers assistance in setting up Wellness Programs to help your employees find balance and health, managing stress and burnout with mindfulness.
